塔爾加莊園酒店 (Talga Estate)

We recently stayed at a property in the Hunter Valley and had a mixed experience. The location of the property was beautiful. It was quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning views of the vineyards. It was also conveniently located near some amazing local wineries. The bed was very comfortable, the towels were clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, which made it easy to enjoy cooking our own meals. Leila was very welcoming and assisted with additional towels/toilet paper. However, there were some significant issues with cleanliness that impacted our overall experience. On the first day, the fridge leaked water onto the kitchen floor however what was more concerning was the discovery of old toenail clippings in the bedroom and bathroom. This was extremely unpleasant and gave us serious concerns about the overall hygiene of the property, especially as we were travelling with a young child who crawls and moves around. This was raised at the time and Leila advised she would discuss with the cleaners. Moreover, the outdoor furniture was dirty, covered in bird droppings. We had to clean it ourselves before we could sit outside and enjoy the otherwise lovely surroundings. Overall, while the location, comfort and facilities of the property were good, the cleanliness issues detracted from what could have been a very enjoyable stay. We recommend that cleaning standards be improved significantly, both indoors and outdoors, particularly for the outdoor furniture and garden area. Providing a welcome pack with information on local attractions, such as Talga Estate and the pomegranate farm, could also enhance the guest experience. Similarly, implementing better security measures would provide peace of mind for guests staying in such a remote location. With these improvements, the property could reach its full potential and provide a truly fantastic experience in a beautiful part of the Hunter Valley.
